Cast Tec was formed in 1983, when they started buying, selling and restoring original cast-iron fireplaces in Tyneside. This then led to the business specialising in cast iron and steel products.

Cast Tec are an industry leader in the cast iron fireplace sector. They produce a variety of ranges such as the Classic range, which is a budget range of decorative arch and tiled cast-iron inserts. The Premier Collection is a range of high-end decorative arch and tiled cast-iron inserts.

The innovative Integra Collection integrates a high output gas fire into a variety of high-end cast insets. Cast Tec created new technology in the Integra Collection to defeat the issue of cast iron insets not producing enough heat. The Integra range is available in a selection of gas fires such as  open fronted high output, glass fronted high output, balance flue high output and slimline open fronted. More recently, the Integra range is available with a wide selection of electric fires.

As well as cast iron insets, Cast Tec also manufacture wood burning and multifuel stoves that meet all current environmental standards. They also have a set of fireside accessories to compliment your stove or cast iron inset.
